Leaf Disposal Guidelines
It is the responsibility of the resident to dispose of the leaves that fall on private property. Leaves that are raked, dumped, blown or otherwise deposited in the street near the curb area can cause localized flooding when a catch basin becomes clogged. Piles of leaves left in the street also impede our ability to remain on schedule and to perform this work in an efficient manner and may not be removed by the sweeper.
2020 Leaf Disposal Events
Drop off hours will be from 8 AM to 4 PM on the listed dates. Beaverton will host the leaf drop events at the City storage lot at SW 160th. Leaves may be bagged (paper required) or un-bagged. This remains a free service however, we will not be collecting canned goods and encourage residents to make donations to local food banks in lieu of bringing donations to the leaf drop. Sunshine Pantry
Midweek dumping is prohibited.
This year staff will be unable to assist residents with unloading materials. In an effort to minimize exposure to COVID-19 the events will be minimally staffed and interaction with staff will be limited. Residents should expect to unload all materials themselves. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to adapt our events to ensure the safety of our staff and community.
**Another option is ordering an additional yard debris roll cart. These can be ordered through your waste haulers for only $6.04 a month. More information can be found at Residential Rates & Services.
