Restorative Dialogue

Restorative Dialogue is a collaborative restorative justice program of the Washington County Juvenile Department and the Center for mediation and dialogue, provides trained facilitators to help juvenile offenders and crime victims meet face-to-face to discuss impact of the harm, meaningful accountability, and agreements to repair the harm.

Restorative Justice provides a framework for building individual accountability and responding to wrongdoing while strengthening individual and community relationships. It is not a singular program or process, rather a philosophy and practice based on a core set of principles that emphasize accountability with a high level of community support.
