There is no limit to how many applications you may submit. For example, if you apply for a grant in the fall and are not selected to receive a grant award, you may reapply in the spring.

Most existing commercial buildings are eligible. In some cases, funds may be used for new construction projects as well. If you are building out a new space and are interested in seeing whether your project might be eligible, contact the Program Manager.

All kinds! Smaller projects might include refreshing your building with a different paint color, upgraded signage, and landscaping. Larger projects may include full storefront reconfigurations with new doors and windows, altering surface materials and finishes, and adding awnings.
A building can receive multiple grants. However, a maximum of $75,000 in Storefront Improvement grants and $75,000 in Tenant Improvement grants (per tenant) over a 5-year period will be awarded. If you are unsure as to whether your building is eligible for additional funding, contact the Program Manager.
Yes, each restaurant is eligible to receive their own Tenant Improvement grant of up to $50,000. Each restaurant space can receive a up to $75,000 in Tenant Improvement grants over a 5-year period.
Funding is available to support physical building improvements. Regardless if your business operates a storefront, if you occupy or own a building within the program boundaries then you may apply for funding towards building improvements.
