Controlling Overgrowth & Poisonous Plants
As spring turns into summer and the days grow longer, many changes occur in our environment. Trees and plants grow more quickly, so it's a great time to get noxious vegetation under control.
What Is Noxious Vegetation
Noxious vegetation is:
- Blackberry bushes that extend into a road, sidewalk, or across a property line
- Poison ivy
- Poison oak
- Weeds and grass more than 12 inches high
What to Do
Please keep your vegetation under control so that it does not become a nuisance for your neighbors. Cut your grass before it gets too tall. This is especially important in the Spring and early Summer. Cut down or kill blackberries before they get out of control. Kill and remove poison oak and poison ivy as soon as possible.
