Membership Requirements

MYAB group photo in council chambersThe board consists of 20 members selected by the Mayor through an application process. Members must be enrolled in a Beaverton area high school. Recruitment for new members occurs in the spring, but applications are accepted year-round. Contact Meghan Rasmussen at 503-526-2543 for more information.

Expectations

Members are expected to attend all meetings. All members are expected to be active participants in committee deliberations in a public setting.

Materials / Activities

Members are expected to participate in the committee’s various events and activities.

Time Commitment

All members are expected to dedicate a few hours per month for the meetings, as well as additional hours for the committee’s various events and activities.
