Advisory Committee

2022-2024 Advisory Committee

The Center for Mediation and Dialogue has openings for the 2022-2024 Advisory Committee.  We are looking for community members who are supportive and/or knowledgeable around conflict resolution, restorative justice or related community-oriented fields. The primary focus of the advisory committee will be to help CMD staff implement and continue to revise the Racial Equity Plan, with a few members also participating in the mini-grant review process.  To apply, please fill out a brief application sharing why you would like to become a committee member. Applicants will be contacted by Dec. 3rd for interviews. 

Committee Member Expectations

  • Commit to participating for 2 years 
  • Attend quarterly meetings 
  • Attend occasional mini-grant review meetings (if part of grant review team)
  • Provide feedback as requested by staff
  • Share information/updates about CMD to networks 
  • Support the implementation and advancement of the CMD Racial Equity Plan 
  • Time commitment (8 to 10 hours per year, + 6 hours for those reviewing grants)
