Characteristics: The growth habit of tis tree is narrow and upright when young. It has bark that is deeply furrowed when mature.

Negative Features: May need regular pruning to keep tight growth and to avoid problems with structure.

Uses: Good for narrow setbacks, and tight situations where room allows on arterial, collector and residential streets. Suitable for planting along boulevards.

Comments: The Skyrocket Oak is an improved, more tightly columnar form of English Oak. It is very similar to Skymaster Oak, Tree #134.
