Characteristics: This tree has dark green foliage. Its branches diverge from the trunk with wide angles of attachment and it has excellent lateral branch development.
Negative Features: Some consider the acorn fruit a nuisance. May require regular pruning to maintain form as tree matures.
Uses: Good for narrow setbacks and tight situations where room allows on arterial, collector and residential streets. Suitable for planting along boulevards.
Comments: Skymaster is similar to the species, but more tightly pyramidal. It is very similar to Skyrocket English Oak, Tree #136.
