Parking Citations

Downtown Parking is a combination of:

  • On-street parking with time limitations
  • Private, off-street parking for specific business
  • Public parking lots
  • Permit parking for employees and residents in the area

Permit Parking

Parking permits are available to people who live or work in downtown. The permits allow for overtime parking only in specific areas. See the Beaverton Downtown Parking Permit District Map for permit parking lots and street locations.

Downtown Employee Parking Permits

Downtown employee parking permits are available for $30 per quarter and can
be purchased at:

Residential Parking Permits

Residential parking permits are free of charge. Residents must supply proof of residency within the downtown area before receiving a parking permit. Proof of address can be any of the following:

  • Home title
  • Lease agreement
  • Utility bill

Permits can be picked up at the address above.

Parking Citations

Due Dates, Fine Amounts & Discounts

Citations paid within 14 calendar days of issue date: $25
Citations paid after 14 calendar days of issue date: $45

Please note fine amounts for parking in an ADA space without a valid ADA placard, blocking an ADA space and blocking a fire hydrant are different than the amounts listed above.

Please refer to the both sides of your citation for additional details regarding fine amount, payment due dates and discounts.

Payment Options

All payments are processed through the Beaverton Municipal Court.

Online: pay your parking citation online via credit or debit card. To make an online payment, you will need to have your citation number and license number of the vehicle cited.

By mail: Include the citation number and vehicle license plate number with your payment. Please make checks payable to Beaverton Municipal Court. Cash is not accepted by mail.

In person: Citations can be paid in person at the Griffith Drive Building located at 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton OR 97005. Hours of operation (excluding holidays):

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 7 am to 5 pm
Thursday: 7 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm.

By phone: Citations can be paid over the phone by calling 503-526-2290 or

Parking Projects

New parking options are on the horizon:

Beaverton Central Parking Garage

A new public parking garage is planned adjacent to The Round in Beaverton Central to accommodate downtown visitors. Planning and design is in coordination with the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts and will be funded by the Beaverton Urban Redevelopment Agency (BURA).

After Hours Public Parking Program

Looking for a place to park in Old Town? The Beaverton Downtown Association’s After Hours Public Parking Program is a partnership with local businesses to provide additional public parking opportunities in private parking lots and easier access to evening activities, including terrific restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.
