Characteristics: This tree exhibits ornamental spring catkins. Its clean, nice foliage turns yellow to purple in fall. It is disease and insect free and thrives in adverse conditions. It usually has a short trunk with bottom branches that touch the ground and nuts that are 1/2" to 5/8".
