Membership Requirements for the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee
There are 11 members appointed by the
City Council. Nine members must be City residents, while two at-large members may reside outside of the City. To apply for an opening, complete our

Expectations
All members, including any alternates, are expected to attend all meetings. All members should have an interest in and familiarity with issues and policies affecting the senior community. All members are expected to be active participants in committee deliberations in a public setting.
Materials / Activities
All members should read all of the materials related to or required for their meetings. Members are also expected to volunteer time for the committee’s various events and activities.
Time Commitment
All members should be willing to dedicate a few hours per month for the meetings, as well as additional hours per year for the committee’s various events and activities.
