Beaverton Street Closures—Street Maintenance Overlay Project

Beaverton’s Allen Blvd. street maintenance overlay project is ahead of schedule and some street closures will occur sooner than originally expected.

Allen Blvd. Street Maintenance Overlay Project
Project limits:  300′ west of Hall Blvd. to Hwy 217 overpass
Overall project timing:  July 12 thru July 25

The following is the updated list of street boundaries, activity and the dates the activities will be performed:

Work will begin at 7 a.m. and be complete no later than 11 p.m.  Throughout the project, at least one lane of Allen Blvd. will remain open to traffic (east and west bound) and traffic detours will be in place for street closures on adjoining streets. The public works crew will reopen lanes of traffic once the new asphalt has cured, depending on weather conditions.

Updated street closures and delays:
Hall Blvd. and Lombard Ave. at Allen Blvd. will be closed intermittently on July 17 and 18 as well as July 21, if necessary.  All intersecting streets from Hall Blvd to King Blvd. will be closed to through traffic at Allen Blvd. Expect delays on Allen Blvd. and intersecting streets throughout the project timeline.

Lombard at Allen, northbound – bus stop 3455 (July 17 and 18)

Commuter rail signal system testing continues—increased train speeds

As a reminder, train speeds along with corridor are permanently increasing. Expect a faster train at any time. Be safe. Always look both ways before crossing tracks. Always expect a train.
