Recycling & Garbage: Houses

Please set your garbage cart, yard debris cart, recycling cart and glass bin at the curb (not on the street) no later than 6:00 a.m. on your service day.

  • Place containers at least three feet away from each other.
  • Place containers at least 18 feet from trees or other overhead obstacles.
  • Place cart so that the lid opening faces the street and the handle is towards your home and not facing the street.
Beaverton’s garbage and recycling service includes weekly collection of garbage, yard debris, recycling and glass—all collected on the same day. To find out your collection day, contact your hauler. If you don’t know who your hauler is, go to Who’s My Hauler.
