Preparedness Training
Preparedness Training Opportunities
The City of Beaverton Web site gives you a complete basic overview of how to prepare your family, household, and community for emergencies. However, more extensive preparedness training is available in the Beaverton area through several resources.
Household Training:
- American Red Cross—Oregon Trail Chapter offers Family Care and Home Safety courses, along with first-aid, AED (Automated External Defibrillators), and CPR training
Disaster Readiness Courses:
- CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)
- FEMA Independant Study Program (ISP)—FEMA Offers free online courses to the public.
