New Crosswalk Signal light installed on Busy Beaverton Roadway

Beaverton Police Investigating Vehicle Assault

Beaverton Man Arrested For Sex Abuse

On June 20, 2012 Detectives with the Beaverton Police Department arrested Marques Paul Goei, 43, at his Beaverton home on several counts of sex abuse of a child. Goei was charged with sex abuse in the first, second and third-degree.

Man Arrested For Sex Abuse Of A Child In 2001

On June 5, 2012, 50 year old Richard Alexander of Hillsboro was arrested by Detectives from the Beaverton Police Department. Alexander was charged with Sexual Penetration 1 and Sex Abuse 1 of a male child. The crime had occurred 10 years ago in 2001.

Subject Flashes Gun at off Duty FBI Agent

On December 8, 2011, at 5:47 p.m., Beaverton officers were dispatched to a suspicious person with a gun at 7-11 - 6000 SW Hall Boulevard. When police arrived an off duty FBI agent said he had stopped by 7-11 on his way home when he was shown the weapon.

Juvenile Exposes Himself Near Elementary School

On December 7, 2011, at 2:35 p.m., the Beaverton Police Department was called to a suspicious person near the William Walker Elementary School campus. Witness said he’d exposed himself.

On November 30, 2011, at 6:18 a.m., the Beaverton Police Department received several calls regarding a crash where a vehicle had struck a pedestrian on SW Canyon Road near SW Watson Avenue. Due to the possible fatality, the CART Team was called out.

Beaverton Police Investigated Single Car Fatality

At 8:23 p.m., November 22, 2011, Beaverton police were called to a single car crash on SW Murray Boulevard at SW Weir Road. Witnesses reported a car hitting a tree and possibly a retaining wall. There were two occupants, a man and a woman.

On November 18th at 6:49 p.m. the Beaverton police received a call of a robbery and assault in the area of 163rd and SW Estuary Drive. The female victim stated a male suspect used a ruse of asking for help to gain entry into her apartment, unforced.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 2:53 a.m., Beaverton police were called to a robbery at Subway located at 2915 SW Cedar Hills Boulevard. The suspect had left, with an undisclosed amount of cash, prior to police arrival.

Suspect(s) Burgle Local Snow and Board Shop

On October 25, 2011, at 3:19 a.m., Beaverton police were called to an audible alarm at Sublimity Snow and Board Shop located at 12404 SW Broadway Street. Upon arrival police found the glass in the front door had been shattered, setting off the alarm.

Crash on SW Canyon and SW 110th

This morning, October 19, 2011, at 8:43 a.m. Beaverton police were dispatched to a crash between a vehicle and a bicycle on SW Canyon Road and SW 110th Avenue. Witnesses reported the bicyclist was down and unconscious.

Two Suspects Arrested Clearing 17 Theft Cases

During the months of July, August and September 2011 the City of Beaverton was experiencing an increase in theft from vehicles. The thefts were “smash and grab” type involving stealing valuables left in vehicles parked at local hotels or motels.
